General: Legend tells that the Egyptian Mau is a direct descendant of the sacred cats of ancient Egypt. Rufusing is not allowed for this breed since they are allowed in silver but not in golden. Unlike most other breeds, Egyptian Maus are not penalized for ghostmarkings in shows.
