Whimsy Querl
General: The Whimsy Querl was found in Ireland in a village rich with love for the old lore. People preferred a bit of whimsy, and the cats fit that role perfectly. It was said by the folk of the village that a British Shorthair got on the wrong side of a faerie queen, so she curled the cat up from her ears to her whiskers to her fur, and that was how the first Whimsy Querl came to be. That actual origins are unknown. Nevertheless, the breed seems to be smiling about a hidden secret, perhaps that of the faerie queen. This is a very curious breed; often getting into situation that they may not be able to get out of. They are also a very loving pet, and like to cuddle up with people or other animals. For these reasons, they make a great family pet; full of fun and love.
