General: The Bengal cat is a cross-breed between domestic cats and wild Bengal cats. The Bengal cat's character and head shape is that of a domestic cat, whereas the body color is similar to that of a wild cat. Also known as "Leopardette". Unlike most other breeds, Bengals are not penalized for ghostmarkings in shows.
