Jikoku
General: One of the guardians of the four cardinal directions in Japanese myth. Jikoku guards the east.
These cats were first found guarding the imperial palaces of ancient japan, kept or given as gifts by the Emperors, they were prized by all who shared their lives with them. Though small in stature, the Jikoku are fierce guardians of all who they deem to belong to them. They are also very clever, and playful companions. They have the talent for winning even ardent cat haters with their charm.
